Wontons

ingredients

Ingredients:

¼ cup white or rice vinegar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

½ teaspoon chilli flakes¼

2 teaspoons sesame oil

½ teaspoon sugar

3 stems shallots, finely sliced

400gm package of coleslaw mix (available from coles or woolworths)

1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

1 packet peking duck & apple wontons

Oil for cooking

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a saucepan and heat until sugar has melted. Allow to cool.

In another saucepan, heat enough oil to lightly fry the 8 wontons, cook on a medium heat until golden brown and cooked through (approx 4 mins). Drain and set aside on some paper towel.

Mix shallots and coleslaw and pour dressing over, tossing gently to coat.

Sprinkle the slaw sesame seeds and place wontons on top

Serve immediately.
